Mike's Comments: This is a remake of the original Payday Record that went out of
print. We decided to re-record it again fresh and do it with instruments
"very closely true" to the Beatles setup in 1964. Scott uses a
Gretsch Tennessee Rose and I'm using a Rickenbacker 330. Both Scott and I
are using Vox AC15's cranked loud. Jason is using his 1964 Ludwig drums --
but I guess we cheated some with Eric Cornwell using a Fender Jazz bass.
Oh well! We are real proud of the way it turned out and hope you pick it
up and like it too!

Mike's Comments: Station WOW is a more in-your-face direct record. We were looking to
combine simple arrangements with the boldness of "that certain two guitar band
sound" that would be appealing to Power Pop fans. This is my (new) personal
favorite record.

were written with the band,
Honeywagen, in mind. After playing live together for almost a year, we were more
comfortable than ever in the studio. This is my personal favorite (of my records available
anyhow).
